D4-7 Visa
The D4-7 Visa is for international students who are enrolling in a foreign language study program in South Korea — specifically English-medium language courses offered by Korean universities and institutions. This visa is ideal for Nepali students who want to strengthen their English language skills before transitioning into a full Bachelor's or Master's degree program in South Korea.
Under this visa, students enroll in a 6-month English language course at a recognized institution. After successfully completing the language program, students are eligible to transfer into a full degree program of their choice. This makes the D4-7 Visa a practical stepping stone for students who meet the basic IELTS requirement but want additional English language preparation before beginning their degree.
Students must have a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 and meet the academic GPA requirement to be eligible. A graduation certificate is required for both admission and visa purposes. Financial documentation is also mandatory. Scholarships may be available based on university policies, and some institutions may conduct interviews during the admission process.
