D2 Student Visa
The D-2 Regular Visa is the standard student visa for international students who want to pursue a full undergraduate Bachelor's degree program at a recognized South Korean university. This visa is specifically for English-medium direct entry Bachelor's programs and must be lodged from Nepal through the official Korean Visa Application Center (KVAC).
For Nepali students, the D-2 Regular Visa is the most common pathway to start their academic journey in South Korea. Once approved, students can study full-time, work part-time according to Korean immigration rules, and continue to a Master's degree after graduation. This visa is accepted by most of our partner universities including Kyungsung University, Sahmyook University, Eulji University, and more.
To successfully obtain this visa, students must have completed their higher secondary education (+2 or equivalent), meet the required academic and English language standards, and provide financial documents showing the ability to support study and living expenses in South Korea. Academic gaps of up to 3–4 years are generally accepted. Some universities may also conduct interviews as part of the admission process.
