D-2 Master's Visa / E-Visa
The D-2 Master's Visa is for students who have completed their Bachelor's degree and wish to pursue a Master's degree program at a South Korean university. This visa can be lodged in two ways — either from Nepal through the Korean Visa Application Center (KVAC), or directly from South Korea through the E-Visa (Electronic Visa) system, depending on the university and program.
The E-Visa option is a major advantage for Nepali students as it eliminates the need to visit the Korean embassy or KVAC in Nepal. Instead, the university and Korea's immigration system handle the visa process electronically, making the entire application faster, simpler, and more convenient.
Most of our partner universities — including Kyungsung University, Eulji University, Sahmyook University, and IGSE — offer the E-Visa facility for Master's programs. Students can apply with or without IELTS depending on the university's requirements. A graduation certificate from a recognized Bachelor's program is mandatory for both admission and visa purposes. Some universities may also conduct interviews as part of the process.
